Dear friends, As many of you know we recently lost our boy Gus to a devastating cancer called canine hemangiosarcoma. It is a very aggressive cancer that took him at a really young age of 6 1/2. Morris Animal Foundation is a nonprofit organization that funds science to advance the health of animals around the world. Since its founding in 1948, the Foundation has invested over $149 million in more than 2,940 studies that have led to significant breakthroughs in diagnostics, treatments and preventions to benefit animals worldwide. It is currently specifically working on projects that will advance the knowledge and treatment of HSA, including early detection and the development of more targeted therapies. We really wanted to do something special in memory of Gus and help other dogs and families in the fight against this disease by raising money for the Morris Animal Foundation.
