Mr. Carson Cares

The Morris Animal Foundation Golden Retriever Lifetime Study is one of the largest, most comprehensive prospective canine health studies in the United States. The Study’s purpose is to identify the nutritional, environmental, lifestyle and genetic risk factors for cancer and other diseases in dogs. Each year, with the help of veterinarians and dog owners, the Foundation collects health, environmental and behavioral data on 3,000+ enrolled golden retrievers. Please help me support advancing the health of dogs everywhere by contributing to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your friends and family. Every dollar we raise will advance this great cause!

Mr. Carson was and always will be our gentle giant. He was a beautiful British Golden Retriever. At 7 years old, Mr. Carson was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma after immediate removal of a lump we found on his side. We were shocked when given a terminal diagnosis of 1-3 months. We were gifted 6 wonderful months with Mr. Carson where he still lived life to its fullest. As a family, we will cherish that time, those memories and everything he taught us forever.

As his fur mom (Sarah Found Coish), I am dedicated to help raise funds for critical canine cancer research (specifically hemangiosarcoma) to help more Golden Retrievers extend their lives and not receive terminal cancer diagnoses.

In addition, through our project Mr. Carson Cares, we are focused on helping people celebrate pet love and connection, while also supporting people through pet grief to find healing and hope. Mr. Carson brought so much love, joy and laughter to our lives and to those he met. We want to honour and celebrate the difference he made to our lives (and hopefully that we made to his). To find our more about our products and services, where 100% of profits go to charity - please visit www.mrcarsoncares.com.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of all dogs who bring unbridled joy and unconditional love, while asking for nothing in return.
