The Golden Retriever Lifetime Study is a longitudinal, prospective observational study following 3,044 golden retrievers throughout their lives. Morris Animal Foundation established, is leading and is funding this $32 million study to identify the nutritional, environmental, lifestyle and genetic risk factors that may increase the risk of developing cancer and other diseases in dogs such as diabetes and heart disease. What we learn will help advance the health of not only dogs, but hopefully other species as well, including humans.

With a focus on community we are having a fundraising Mad Hatter Tea Pawty to benefit the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study. This tail-wagging good time will be held on July 18th, 2020 in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania. Planned activities include games, basket drawings, and, of course, tea with pastries and sandwiches.
