The Morris Animal Foundation Golden Retriever Lifetime Study is one of the largest, most comprehensive prospective canine health studies in the United States. The Study’s purpose is to identify the nutritional, environmental, lifestyle and genetic risk factors for cancer and other diseases in dogs. Each year, with the help of veterinarians and dog owners, the Foundation collects health, environmental and behavioral data on 3,000+ enrolled golden retrievers. Please help me support advancing the health of dogs everywhere by contributing to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your friends and family. Every dollar we raise will advance this great cause!

Ask how you can get involved, and together, we can make a difference in the lives of dogs!

Calling all Golden Retriever Lifetime Study Hero and Supporter Families! Join with us for the Morris Animal Foundation's 1-mile virtual walk on June 20, 2020 to raise awareness and funds for pet cancer during our Stop Cancer FUREVER campaign! Let's show the world how we fight! AND, we will have a post in the 3000 Strong FB group to share walk pictures. If you walk with us and raise $100, Morris will send you a Morris Animal Foundation bandanna and a customizable Wall of Hope certificate to show who you walk for. And, now through June 30, all gifts will be matched, up to $100,000, thanks to a generous gift from the Petco Foundation and Blue Buffalo Company. Cancer is still the leading cause of death in dogs over the age of 2, as well as a leading cause of death in cats. Working together, we can continue to develop new treatments, and maybe even new cures, giving us hope for more years and more memories with our pets. We envision a world where more cancers are treatable, and more cures are possible. Do you share this vision? Then please consider walking with us on June 20th. Morris Animal Foundation is a nonprofit organization that funds science to advance the health of animals around the world. Since its founding in 1948, the Foundation has invested over $155 million in more than 2,700 studies that have led to significant breakthroughs in diagnostics, treatments and preventions to benefit animals worldwide. Please help me support advancing the health of animals everywhere by contributing to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your friends and family. Every dollar we raise will advance this great cause! What if I can’t walk on June 20? Our Stop Cancer Furever campaign spans the months of May and June. Sign up, do your walk anytime from May 1 - June 30 and have your favorite pet wear their bandana proudly. We’ll be sharing photos on our social media that day and hope you will too! How do you know if I really did walk a mile? We trust you! Regardless of your actual distance logged, you are doing your part to raise awareness of animal cancer in your community.
